EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Description of NRBC Community Outreach Center

NRBC Community Outreach Center started as a group of faith centered residents who united together to bring attention to and address the needs of the residents of rural Angleton Texas. This group was formed out of a commitment to implement the vision of Reverend Doran A. Goston the residing minister of New Revelation Baptist Church. To implement a vision that would take Gods’ work beyond the walls of the church, and reach out to the people in need on the streets and within the community. To implement a vision that would fuel the economic growth of the community of rural Angleton Texas. Also, to implement a vision that would heal the pains of poverty for many of the disadvantage and underserved residents, while letting God’s light of love shine bright through their efforts. Today, NRBC Community Outreach Center is a non-profit corporation recognized promoting the implementation of a three year strategic plan that will bring vision to fruition. The organization is committed to promoting programs that create employment opportunities and strengthen the economic status of their target community. The organization is driven to create and expand educational growth, resident and community asset building, and stimulating self-sufficiency and sustainability in the area.  The Board of Director of the organization has set forth the momentum and effectiveness needed in its advocacy role through the pursuant and coordination of activities that recognize, address, and improve community and public services.
